The JCS band enjoyed the EOSSMA Band Festival in Elgin today. There were close to 150 students participating today.
THIS THURSDAY!
Senior 2024- Adan Lopez
Adan, Adam, Junior, whichever name you know him by, Adan Lopez hails from a tight-knit family 18 miles upstream of Imnaha. A football fanatic (soccer), his positive, analytical mind is a force to be reckoned with. No stranger to inquisitiveness, his smile can light up a room. Some parting words from Adam as he heads out into the grand world: “The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.” (Franklin D Roosevelt). Boo!

The 8th grade science class wrote and illustrated information about invertebrates, and then spent time reading them to the kindergarten class.
Senior 2024- Hailey Teters
At once respectful and strong, witty and serious, Hailey Teters quickly adapted to Joseph Charter her senior year. Whether it's slangin’ pizzas or taking care of her dog Hank, Hailey has the grit and love to make it through the tougher spots of life. Her analytical nature will most likely lead her towards a lucky life as a lab technician. While you can’t repeat life, and some things in life just shouldn’t be repeated, the sky’s the limit for this JCS grad.

Senior 2024- Charles Bronson
A straight-shooting kid from Virginia, Charles Bronson joined Joseph Charter his sophomore year. While he participated in cross-country and basketball, football left a lasting impression on his ACL. Academically, he enjoyed aviation and history, learning about past wars and how to spread his wings and fly. “Life is full of stupid,” says Charles, “but you just have to learn to go with the flow.” Charles will be headed to EOU after graduation to figure out his next steps in life.

Senior 2024- Nethaniel Bosch
“Hounddog,” aka Nethaniel Bosch, is a combustion connoisseur. Though working on engines is his main passion in life, metal-working, rebuilding old cars, fishing, hunting, and family are all important to him. To the youngsters still at JCS he says: “Put your tools back where you got them and stop stealing the tape measure.” After graduation he hopes to move to Texas and go to school to be a diesel mechanic.
Joseph will still be having conferences this morning for those who can make it. 🌨
Senior 2024- Nick Watts
Phone-dropping, fast-moving, and faith-based, Nick Watts is a believer in sympathy; even though he might not agree with some people’s actions or choices, it doesn’t stop him from focusing on the saying “love your neighbor.” Nick says the craziest part about graduating is realizing you relied on yourself more than you might think. So go out there and pursue your dreams, even if others think you have your head in the clouds. “It is what it is.”
A group of the track kids are wearing their new season t-shirts. A fundraiser designed by Kane Johnson. How many of you can relate? 😊😂
Senior 2024- Brandon Cox
Fiction writer, actor, and rock-solid friend, Brandon Cox has spent the past four years more or less on auto-pilot. He’d like to thank coffee for most of his high school success. He will be pursuing creative writing at Lewis-Clark State College where story, screenwriting, and the world of ideas reign. On graduating, Brandon says, “I will genuinely forget almost anything; what you see before you is a miracle; every day is Ground Hog Day."
